Liquid Deglosser, or Liquid Sandpaper is a fast easy way to prepare a previously painted or clear finished item for painting without sanding.

To prepare an old finish for repainting it's necessary to clean the item very thoroughly, as any foreign substance can cause the new paint to not stick. After cleaning sanding is necessary to rough up the old finish to give a surface for the new paint to stick to.

Liquid deglosser will take care of both steps with a lot less work and will give a better preparation, because the liquid will get into small areas where it's very difficult to sand.
