Lifetime with Wood

I've spent a lifetime, both puttering with, and being serious about wood. My first experience with wood was winning a model airplane for building the best bird house in cub scouts and it went on from there. Besides furniture, we owned five dilapidated to fixer-upper houses and agonized/enjoyed redoing them and did major surgery to three houses that we rented.

My wife and I had an Antique Restoration, Furniture Repair and Refinishing business for 20+ years in Moses Lake, Washington in the center of the Columbia Basin in central Washington state until we closed it up several years ago when I retired.

People still stop us in stores and parking lots to ask if we would do just one more piece of furniture. A good part of our business was conducted away from the store. We never did any advertising, but depended completely on word of mouth
